Essay Topics: Uncovering the Yellow Wallpaper Essay Topics
Essay Topics: Uncovering the Yellow Wallpaper Essay TopicsIn most cases, there are three general groups of Yellow Wallpaper Essay Topics that college students find especially interesting. These topics fall into three distinct categories. Each group of essay topics has its own different advantages and disadvantages, but all groups present their own unique set of challenges for the college student. The first category is one-time lectures or courses which are interesting in theory but don't have anything to offer in terms of the actual experiences that are required of an essay. Some of these types of course work include: that which we call the history of the world, American history, medical, and even religion. If a student finds themselves struggling with any of these subjects, it may be worthwhile to investigate the possibilities of writing about such topics in a short essay. The second category is the traditional topics that many students seem to favor. These subjects typically deal wit h current events and concerns of the moment. This category includes topics like the upcoming election, the current wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, the current war on drugs, the economic state of the country today, as well as the current climate of the economy in general. The third category is perhaps the most challenging of all, and certainly one that the college student must wrestle with. This category involves the theme of religion. These topics can range from the biblical accounts of Jesus' life and ministry, to current events involving religion in general. While these topics are challenging in terms of their intellectual content, they are just as difficult for an academic level student to tackle. They require writing, research, and personal reflection. For a college student, the differences between these two categories may be less important than the similarity in the realizations they may bring.Essays addressing religion can be challenging not only because of the fact that religion as a subject is inherently challenging, but also because of the fact that it is a lifestyle and not just a subject. It is a lifestyle that many college students have had in some form, but have never been able to fully understand. These types of essays take the time to learn the ins and outs of the lifestyle, as well as where a student has to go to learn more. Finally, one of the greatest challenges for a student tackling these types of essays is the question of whether they really want to write an essay at all. Many students do not feel like the topic is up their alley. However, these students should realize that writing is only a means to an end. What may be an odd choice for a subject may be exactly what is needed to get them through the semester. For students who have not yet ventured into these topics, but have a sincere interest in learning, consider this as an opportunity to dive in and start. After all, no one can expect their life's journey to be just a few hours long. Rather, try and have a little fun while making time to expand the student's horizons and enrich their knowledge base.
